Hassan Campaign Announces Another Record-breaking Fundraising Haul

MANCHESTER, N.H. — U.S. Sen. Maggie Hassan continues to lap the field in the race for campaign cash.

The first-term Democrat facing a difficult re-election campaign is announcing yet another record-breaking fundraising haul, this time for more than $4.3 million in the pre-primary filing window, which runs from July 1 to Aug. 24.

The Hassan campaign said this is the highest such figure any Senate candidate has raised in New Hampshire in that filing period.

“While our opponents are stuck in a divisive and messy primary, our campaign is talking directly to Granite Staters about Sen. Hassan’s record of delivering for the people of New Hampshire,” said Maggie for NH campaign manager Aaron Jacobs. “We are deeply grateful for the support we have received from across New Hampshire, which has allowed us to build a commanding grassroots organization heading into the fall.”

Hassan has $7.3 million cash on hand. Her campaign is closing in on the $30 million mark for the 2022 cycle, far outpacing any of her Republican challengers.
